Chrysalis

A winter cocoon for rest, transformation, and emergence.

A limited Mother’s Day offering of $222 off is available until 17 May.

Date: 3-6 July
Location: Mudgee, NSW

There are moments in life when the most important movement is inward.

When the pace you’ve been keeping no longer feels sustainable.
When something within you begins to ask for space, for breath, for rest.

Just as the butterfly enters the chrysalis before it emerges, transformation begins in stillness.

Chrysalis is an invitation to step away from the noise of everyday life and enter a space of rest, reflection, and renewal.

Held in the quiet beauty of the Mudgee countryside, this retreat weaves together breathwork, yoga, meditation, sound healing, vocal activation, creative expression, and ceremony to support a gentle unfolding from within.

Here, you are invited to soften, listen deeply, and reconnect with the quiet intelligence of your own becoming.

Co hosted by Destiny Wolf and Ali Skiba, this retreat brings together a powerful blend of breathwork, sound, and embodied practice.

Together, they create a space that feels deeply supportive, expressive, and intentionally held, where women can gather, be nourished, and move through meaningful transformation in community.

Sometimes the most powerful transformation begins the moment we allow ourselves to slow down, turn inward, and be held in connection.

THE LOCATION

Nestled amongst the rolling hills of the Mudgee region, our retreat sanctuary at Zensi Retreat is surrounded by wide open landscapes, fresh country air, and the quiet rhythm of the Australian bush.

Winter in the countryside carries a particular stillness. Crisp mornings, soft golden light, and vast open skies create the perfect environment to slow down and turn inward. Just as the chrysalis offers the butterfly a protected space for transformation, this land provides a peaceful container for rest, reflection, and renewal.

Zensi Retreat is a thoughtfully designed wellness sanctuary set on a peaceful rural property in St Fillans, NSW. Contemporary architecture blends seamlessly with the surrounding landscape, allowing expansive views and natural light to move gently through the space.

Shared gathering areas invite connection and conversation, while quiet corners across the property offer moments for solitude, journaling, and contemplation. The surrounding land encourages slow walks, deep breaths, and time in nature as part of the retreat experience.

A dedicated practice space provides a sanctuary for our daily movement, breathwork, meditation, and ceremony.

This is a place to cocoon, soften, and listen deeply. A place where the pace of life slows enough for something new to quietly begin unfolding within.

Modern outdoor patio with fire pit, dining area, seating, and lounge chairs, illuminated by built-in lighting, during sunset.
Modern interior with two round soaking pools filled with water, white textured stone floor, floor-to-ceiling mirror on wall, and large floor-to-ceiling window overlooking outdoor landscape.
A person lying on a wooden bench inside a sauna, with their legs outstretched and a towel hanging over the bench, beside a large window showing an outdoor landscape.
Minimalist yoga studio with large windows, white curtains, and yoga mats with bolsters, overlooking a desert landscape.
View of a backyard with an in-ground hot tub, a white lounge chair, and a thatched umbrella, overlooking a vast open field with scattered trees.
Modern bathroom with black bathtub, stone floor, textured stone wall, black shelves with lighting, and small black stool.

Food for the Journey Within

Winter invites us inward.

Just as the chrysalis is a space of quiet transformation, the food shared throughout the retreat is designed to support warmth, grounding, and deep nourishment during this time of turning inward.

Meals will be thoughtfully prepared by our local chef using seasonal ingredients, celebrating the abundance of the Mudgee region while offering comfort and vitality in the cooler months. Expect wholesome, nourishing dishes that warm the body, replenish the system, and allow you to soften into the rhythm of the retreat.

Food becomes part of the ritual. A moment to gather, to slow down, and to receive nourishment not only for the body, but for the deeper unfolding that is taking place within.

“I just wanted to share how I’ve been feeling since the retreat. I feel so happy and genuinely different. The sense of calm and clarity I’ve come back with is honestly incredible. It was a reset I didn’t fully realise how much I needed, but it felt truly magical.

Since returning, I’ve been able to have conversations I’d been avoiding, but this time without becoming overwhelmed. I’ve been able to express myself with so much more calmness and clarity, especially in my relationship. I feel really proud of that.

There has already been such a shift. We spent hours talking the night I got back, and things have felt so different since. There’s more understanding, more effort, and a completely new way of communicating. I know it’s still early, but I truly don’t think we would be here if I hadn’t taken that time for myself.

The retreat gave me the space to clear my mind, reconnect with myself, and really look at what I needed both personally and in my relationship. It gave me so much to take away.

I honestly feel like a new person since coming back. It was such a beautiful, powerful experience, and I’m so grateful for the space that was created.”

“I honestly feel like a new person since coming back.”

Your Facilitators

Destiny Wolf and Ali Skiba come together to create nurturing and transformative spaces where women are invited to slow down, reconnect, and explore the deeper layers of their inner world.

Blending their unique gifts across yoga, breathwork, sound healing, voice activation, and ceremonial practice, they guide experiences that support both personal reflection and authentic connection. Together they create a grounded and supportive container where women can soften, express, and reconnect with their inner wisdom.

Destiny Wolf

Destiny Wolf is a master breathwork facilitator, sound healer, and senior yoga teacher who creates spaces for people to soften back into their bodies and reconnect with their natural rhythm. Through conscious breath, sound, movement, and somatic ritual, she guides experiences that support gentle release, nervous system regulation, and a return to the quiet wisdom within.

Her work is rooted in reverence for the feminine, the land, and the subtle intelligence that unfolds when women feel safe enough to listen deeply and move from the heart. Through retreats, ceremonies, and community gatherings she invites people to reconnect with presence, vitality, and the deeper beauty of being alive.

Ali Skiba

Ali Skiba’s work is a fusion of science and spirit, guiding individuals back to their most authentic, embodied expression. Through breathwork, sound healing, voice activation, and somatic practices, she supports nervous system regulation, emotional release, and energetic alignment.
